The Art & Makers Market, located in Westover Gardens, Bournemouth next to the new Aviary, was established over 60 years ago and is one of the largest, and longest running, open air art displays in the country. This is a free attraction run as not for profit by local creatives.
Set in the peaceful surroundings of the Lower gardens, the market boasts a diverse mix of artistic genres and artisan products. So there is something to match every taste and suit every budget, offering visitors the chance to engage directly with artists and independent makers to purchase a broad selection of items at affordable prices.
This year’s Art & Makers Market runs from 6th May to 1st October 11am till 5pm weekends and bank holidays. There will also be a 4 day Easter pop-up Event running in collaboration with our neighbour Picnic Park Deli, with themed activities and live musical performances from local talent.
