The amazing and super-spectacular Weston-super-Mare Carnival is on Friday 7th November 2025.
It is the biggest night of the year in the Weston-super-Mare calendar and people come from all over the country to see it. The two-hour long procession is the west country’s answer to the Rio Carnival. It features huge and extravagantly-decorated carts with thousands of bright lights on, putting on an exciting must-see FREE procession for thousands of spectators.
The route for the carnival parade will start as usual in Locking Road car park and proceed alongside Tesco heading towards the bus hub, turning right down Alfred Street. All the way down Alfred Street and left onto the Boulevard heading down into Waterloo Street past the Italian Gardens/Town Square (where the carnival village will be) onto South Parade past The Royal Hotel and following the road around to Knightstone Road past the Royal Grosvenor and Lauriston Hotels to turn left along Royal Parade (the sea front) continuing along the Marine Parade where the procession will end just past the Pirate golf opposite the Grand Atlantic Hotel.

Road closures will be in place from 1700hrs.
Locking Road Coach Park will be closed from the Monday before the carnival up to and including the Saturday following the carnival. Limited coach parking is available at the Madeira Car Park (BS23 2HA).
