Victorian Christmas Weekends at Brunel's SS Great Britain

About

Join Brunel's SS Great Britain on December 7-8 for a magical Festival of Christmas during the Victorian Christmas Weekend!

Guests will unlock stories of Christmases past, meeting Old Father Christmas in his traditional green robes and mingling with the ‘great unwashed’ as the Ragged Victorians fill the dockyard. They can enjoy playing Victorian party games or singing carols with passengers in First Class.

For those who love crafting, there will be opportunities to color in a Victorian Christmas card or create a sailor’s charm Christmas tree decoration.

The historic dockyard will be transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with beautiful greenery, guaranteed snow, and heartwarming traditional carols performed by a variety of local bands and choirs. This year’s line-up includes:

Filton Concert Brass
Bedminster Community Choir
Bristol All Voices Aloud
The Gasmen Collective
Keep it Vocal
Hartcliffe & Withywood Community Choir
St Mary Redcliffe Church Choir
Bleadon Belles Women’s Institute Choir

Additionally, a delicious two-course festive lunch will be served on board in the First Class Dining Saloon on Sunday, December 8. For more information, visitors are encouraged to click here.
