Uncertain Spaces will be his fourth solo show which explores Sheffields in between spaces, he states "I am interested in serendipity - 'happy accidents, mini-sublimes' - and the emotions that come about from noticing them.” Andy Cropper “We are delighted to be showing these beautifully painted evocative images of Sheffield. Often extremely dark, buildings or structures emerge from inky blackness or are spot lighted via electric light sources creating dramatic shapes or focus points, to which our eyes are not usually drawn. These are deeply felt, atmospheric and compelling images.” Karen Sherwood, Director & Curator.
