Takedown Festival line up poster for 2025

About

Takedown Festival is back for 2025, with a brand new line up featuring some of the best in rock and metal music.

Elvana (Elvis fronted Nirvana) will headline the Saturday, whilst Kris Barras Band (fronted by the former MMA fighter) top the bill on Friday.

Other bands completing the line up include Ferocious Dog, Dreamstate, Kid Bookie, Acres, Lake Malice, InVisions, URNE, The Nightmares, Blanket and many more.

After an 8-year hiatus the festival, which had previously been held at Southampton University and Salisbury City Hall, was brought to Portsmouth in 2023 as part of a partnership between The Guildhall Trust and Divergent Festivals. It featured over 40 bands across four stages in 10 hours of festival fun. The incredible return for Takedown Festival was topped off with it being nominated for Best Small Festival, Best Metropolitan Festival and the Grassroots Festival Awards at 2023's UK Festival Awards.

Whilst redevelopment works at the Guildhall Basement forced the cancellation of the 2024 event, it's back for 2025 with a line-up that promises to tear it up.
