Throughout the day stalls, street theatre and traditional fairground rides line Stafford town centre streets with Father Christmas and entertainment on the main stage in Market Square. The afternoon gets underway from around 3pm with characters from this year's pantomine Cinderella, DJ, music and live performances by The Cartoon Kings in Stafford Market Square.
The Christmas lights will be turned on at 5pm, triggering the launch of thousands of fireworks from the top of the Guildhall Shopping Centre, before the band come back on stage to do another 45-minute set.
