Sidmouth Regatta will take place from Saturday, August 23rd, to Sunday, August 24th. The sea-based events will feature Sailing and Gig Races, along with the annual Surf Lifesaving competition.
This year, spectators can also enjoy a special demonstration by Sidmouth’s own lifeboat, offering a glimpse into how volunteers train to save lives at sea. For those who prefer to stay on land, there will be a tug-of-war competition, a bar, and live entertainment at the Watersports Hub.
The much-loved fireworks display, organized by Sidmouth Town Council, is getting an upgrade this year, featuring a spectacular combination of music and pyrotechnics presented by the award-winning Sonic Fireworks.
There will be no airshow at this year's event; however, the town council has stated that it will make renewed efforts to secure one for 2026.
Donation buckets will be everywhere.
