Friday 20th September 

The Heartbeats

Formed in 1993 and hailing from Bristol,The Heartbeats are GrantleyKingscott, Steve Evans and Lee Gosher all of whom have vast experience working with other bands. You may well have seen them as the "Starcats" backing Rebel Dean. They're great to dance to and there's always a great atmosphere at their gigs.

Glenn Darren & The Krew Katz

Glenn Darren and The Krew Katz is a well known quality rock n roll band from the Nottinghamshire area. The band deliver a no nonsense set of classic rock ‘n’ roll guaranteed to pack the dance floor. Backed by his four piece band, Glenn is a superb singer who always gives 100% when performing.

Saturday 21st September 

Rockin Pagan

Pagan Gould performs rock n roll, rockabilly and doo wop to high quality backing tracks. He also has a rockin trio called The Blue Diamond Trio. The consumate performer, Pagan is guaranteed to entertain and fill the dance floor.

Roosters

The Roosters are a 3 piece Rock n Roll trio who are 3 dedicated musicians who collaborated together and formed the ROOSTERS. All three have served their apprenticeship on the rockin scene as they have played, and play, in many of the top rock n roll bands on the scene.

The Roosters usual line up is - Kevin Swain (lead vocals and double bass) , Bill Crittenden (lead guitar and backing vocals) and Phil  McKee (drums and backing vocals).

As part of Rockin' 50s Promotions the multi-talented Kevin is also responsible for organising your weekend entertainment and is the sound engineer!

Downtown Daddyos

Based in Bristol and Manchester The Downtown Daddyo's perform songs from the 1950's from memorable artists such as Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Ray Charles, Carl Perkins, Johnny Preston, Bobby Darin, Johnny Ray and Louis Prima to name a few. With a wealth of knowledge on rock'n'roll music the band endeavour to play their songs with the intention of making you either tap your feet or get up on the dance floor and jive the night away whilst enjoying the music of a much appreciated and well followed era. 'The Downtown Daddyo's' receive much acclaim from rock'n'roll clubs around the country and are always guaranteed to create a great atmosphere.

Sunday 22nd September 

Rockin Dave B

Dave B is a South East based multi tribute artist playing across the UK in various Theatre Shows and with his band or solo. Currently starring in hit show Rock n Roll Paradise as Ricky Nelson and Big Bopper and fronting his very own show launched in March 2017 Travelin Man The Ricky Nelson Rock n Roll Show. Dave B also fronts rockin band Dave Bs Good RockinTonite. Dave Bs authentic solo or band tributes of Ricky Nelson, Shakin’ Stevens, Buddy Holly and 50s/60s Elvis go down a wow across the country.

Blast Off

Blast Off first got together in 1996 and was the Folkestone Rock’n’Roll Club’s resident band every Wednesday evening for two years, specialising in the 50’s era. The band consists of DrissHodson, Double Bass and lead vocals, Darren Legget on drums and Vocals and Tim Bradley, lead guitar and backing vocals. Blast Off pride themselves on playing every sound live, with a fantastic sound of much bigger bands. Blast Off have backed top artists, such as Wee Willie Harris, Graham Fenton from (Matchbox), Linda Gale Lewis and many more.

The Kingcats

Arguably the highlight of the weekend The Kingcats - usual lineup Bill Crittenden (Guitar and Vocals) , Kevin Swain (Bass), Gabriel Allen, Rusty Lupton (Keyboard) and Kevin Bulford - have a huge following within the rock and roll scene. Bill's unique voice combined with the individual talents of the rest of the band create a sound that draws you to the dance floor like a magnet or compels you to just stand and watch in awe.
