Noah's Ark Zoo Farm invites everyone to celebrate autumn with a unique twist at Pumpkinfest, running from 1st October to 3rd November. Families can enjoy an exciting adventure filled with pumpkins, scavenger hunts, and the beauty of nature.
Pumpkin Patch
The accessible pumpkin patch, located at the Farm Shop, ensures that all guests can participate in the seasonal fun. With easy pathways and viewing areas, visitors can pick out the perfect pumpkin in an inclusive environment. Selfie spots and photo opportunities are available, offering the perfect backdrop of autumnal colors for family memories.
The zoo’s pumpkins have a special touch—elephant and rhino poo, which serves as a natural fertilizer, has helped produce a bumper crop of pumpkins and gourds. Whether for decorating, carving, or cooking, the variety on display is sure to delight.
Key Features:

Accessibility
Noah's Ark Zoo Farm is committed to making the zoo accessible to everyone. While the zoo is built on a working farm, most areas are wheelchair accessible. In partnership with Bristol's Mobility Centre, a limited number of wheelchairs are available to reserve for free, and mobility scooters can be hired for £10 (book in advance).
The "Ark for All" initiative, launched in 2018, has introduced new facilities, including a Changing Places toilet with a hoist and changing bed, accessible play equipment, and wheelchair-friendly signage.
For those who prefer quieter visits, the zoo tends to be less busy during term time weekdays, Sundays during term time, and from 3-5 pm during school holidays. Visitors can also find peaceful areas like the quiet lawn behind the Gibbons and the space near the Rhea and Bear enclosures.
In July, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm partnered with Gordon Morris, a hearing solutions company, to install hearing loops in several areas, including the Food Barn, Gift Shop, and ticket office. Speech transfer systems have also been introduced to improve communication at the Food Barn and ticket offices.
Bring the whole family for a festive, educational, and fun-filled autumn celebration at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm’s Pumpkinfest!
