**Postponed to 7 Dec** Tamworth Christmas Lights Switch On

This year’s free extravaganza is another jam packed day of festive fun for the whole family, ahead of the main event when the lights will be switched on, bathing the town in Christmas cheer.
Festivities take place throughout the day from 12:00 noon including live music, fairground rides, a festive market, craft activities, walkabout characters, dance performances and face painting. Entertainment will centre around the main stage in St Editha’s Square, which will feature performances from a range of acts throughout the afternoon.
Lights switched-on 5:00pm
Free admission
From M1/M6 northbound take the M42 and exit at Junction 10.
From M6 southbound exit at Junction1 2 and approach Tamworth via A5
Nearest railway station is Tamworth which is 1 mile away.
