Portsmouth Pride is proud to be the host city of UK Pride on 7 June 2025 on Southsea Common!
The announcement comes after Portsmouth Pride secured funding from Arts Council England to support a bid to host UK Pride in Portsmouth and drive a legacy that will influence the city's LGBTQ+ cultural landscape long after.
The funding will be utilised to ensure that UK Pride 2025 is a landmark event that:
Showcases the most diverse line-up of national-profile LGBTQ+ artists.
Brings together a broad spectrum of talent to Portsmouth, highlighting the richness and diversity of the community.
Inspires local underrepresented talent.
Provides opportunities for local artists to develop their skills, build confidence, and perform on a national stage.
Is accessible to all – in keeping with Portsmouth Pride’s commitment to inclusivity, UK Pride 2025 will be free, unfenced, and open to everyone in the city and beyond.
More details will follow. Keep an eye on Portsmouth Pride's socials and their website for more information.
