X Factor and I'm A Celebrity star, Fleur East will perform on Northern Pride Festival's centre stage on the Saturday of the weekend festival which takes place this summer 2019. Pop favourites, Liberty X will get the audience Jumpin' on the Sunday so get ready a string of chart hits, including Thinking It Over, Just a Little and Got To Have Your Love. The three-day festival (Friday 19 - Sunday 21 July 2019) includes the Stonewall Remembrance March, as a sea of rainbow flags, LGBT+ people, allies, individuals and organisations join together to parade through the city centre. Over 20,000 people joined the parade last year so expect a bigger and more colourful show of solidarity in 2019!

Across the weekend, festival-goers will also enjoy music from a number of other stars including:

- Livin’ Joy vocalist Janice Robinson and trance singer Marcella Woods on the Los Angeles stage on Saturday.

- Singer-songwriter Katherine Ellis, house music group Baby D, pop singer Sonia and the voice of Meatloaf’s I’d Do Anything for Love, Lorraine Crosby will also be performing on Saturday.

- Sunday's line-up includes Union J star Jaymi Hensley, the stars of Newcastle cabaret club Boulevard, BBC’s All Together Now winner and UK Eurovision entrant Michael Rice, Hartlepool sister act KHALYSIS and X Factor favourite Felix Shepherd.

The Newcastle Northern Pride 2019 Festival will commemorate 50 years since the era defining Stonewall Riots and the annual pride parade through Newcastle City Centre will transform into a procession of remembrance, to honor those who fought for change.

This year, the Newcastle's Northern Pride Festival will be spread across two locations, with the Town Moor hosting the main stage, fun fair and the platinum bar and garden, and the Community Village across the moor at Exhibition Park, home to The Curious Arts Stage, Rainbow Village and various zones.
