Heritage Open Days - Mompesson House

Celebrate Mompesson House being open with days that include free entry, guided tours and a new look at our collection.
From our carriage doors to the front of the house, to some of our hidden rooms and collection items, Mompesson is opening up.
For the week of the 11th of September, we will show you the insides of some of our collection pieces that usually stay closed, from dressing tables to clocks.
On Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th September, our house and gardens will be free entry to all visitors.
On Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th, when the site is normally closed, we will have free bookable guided tours with our collections team. If you've ever wondered where the old kitchens are, if there's a cellar, or what we do with all our pictures that aren't on display, this is for you! Tickets to these tours will be limited and will be available to book online. The tours will take approximately one hour.
