Fred Dinenage How 2 Survive 60 Years in TV

About

With a career spanning six decades, Fred Dinenage has earned his place as one of Britain's most enduring and beloved broadcasters.

Throughout his illustrious career, Fred's association with Southern Television, and its subsequent incarnations as TVS and Meridian Broadcasting, remains a defining thread in his professional life. Audiences will fondly remember his appearances on popular programs such as "Tell The Truth," "How" (and its successor, "How 2"), and his time as the face of news on "Coast To Coast" and later "Meridian Tonight" for ITV Meridian.

During this show, the warm and witty Fred will take you on an enjoyable journey through his magnificent moments and broadcasting blunders down TV memory lane.

Hear fascinating stories from behind the scenes of many shows and stars that will entertain and surprise you. From black and white to colour... Fred was there!

This includes rare and recently found archive treasures from The Beatles, Morecambe & Wise, Sid James, and Crossroads' Noele Gordon... among many more.

For the first time, Fred will also share the truth behind the moments when it wasn't always "alright on the night" with his hand-picked bloopers and gaffs.
