To celebrate the release of her upcoming sixth EP, Emma Blackery returns to the live scene with a one-night only special EP release live show at 229 in London on October 6th 2023. Supported by lead single Everybody Lies, as well as featuring an additional four brand new songs, the upcoming EP (the title of which has yet to be revealed) follows on from her 2021 album Girl In A Box, as well as 2022 singles What Have You Done For Me Lately? and Cry To Your Mother. Emma is no stranger to commanding the independent music scene. With two full-length albums and five EPs under her belt to date, she is returning in a big way with a self-produced, multi-genre EP to be released later in 2023. Her fanbase of 2.8M total listeners on Spotify alone have heard her unique twists on pop, rock, pop-punk, alternative and country to mention a few - and her upcoming EP continues her unique take on multi-genre releases, with tracks that Emma has described as her “most true-to-self” material to date. With an audience of 1.2M+ on YouTube, 600K+ followers on Twitter, and 280K+ on Instagram, as well as accruing a total of over 32M streams on Spotify, Emma has made a career from sharing her experiences and life stories through her platforms and music side by side for almost a decade. Available for download and streaming from July 28th, lead single Everybody Lies is the first taste of Emma’s new direction, with more singles to be released before the EP is released later in 2023.
