We’re busy getting ready for our beloved Duck Race on Easter Bank Holiday Monday (21 April) – kindly sponsored by children’s swimming school Puddle Ducks.
After some river-based hiccups last year, we’re hoping for much smoother sailing and even more fun this time around.
As is tradition, the race will begin at 12 noon but there’ll be fun and games, as well as food and drink at Westbury Garden from 10am.
Every year hundreds flock to the town to take part or simply watch the spectacle that is the Bradford on Avon tradition.
Prizes this year include:
Ducks cost £2 and can be sponsored at the Tourist Information Centre and many town centre businesses.
We’re also excited to say that the Business Duck Race is back for another year!
During the Business Duck Race, you’ll see local businesses compete against one another for a chance to dethrone last year’s winner.
Each blue Business Duck costs £10 and you can sponsor as many as you like (up to 50 available). Sponsor a business duck over at the Bradford on Avon Town Council website.
