DOWNTON CUCKOO FAIR CANCELLED FOR 2024
The Downton Cuckoo Fair is an ideal family event held on the greens in this picturesque village 6 miles south of Salisbury and entry is FREE!
The Fair is open 10am - 4.30pm. There are ample car parks where cars are charged at £10 per car with most of the proceeds going to local charitable organisations within the village.
Accessible toilets are available for visitors with disabilities as well as ramps to aid access to village greens.
There are over 250 craft and produce stalls, some under cover in marquees as well as a variety of refreshment venues.
There are lots of things to entertain visitors including rural craft demonstrations; maypole and morris dancing; street entertainment; music and plenty for the children including Punch and Judy, circus entertainers and Jonathan the Jester.
