Experience the beauty of Dorchester and the Jurassic Coast at the Dorchester Walking Festival, 10 – 18th May 2025.

Lace up your boots and get ready to explore stunning landscapes and rich history. An exciting programme of varied walks led by experienced and knowledgeable volunteer walk leaders will soon be available to book.

Held during National Walking Month, this friendly and inclusive festival promises a week of unforgettable walks suitable for all abilities, showcasing the beauty and heritage of Dorset.

The Dorchester Walking Festival offers residents and visitors alike the chance to explore dramatic landscapes. There will be opportunities to immerse yourself in rich history and walk in the footsteps of heroes who lived in this enchanting corner of Dorset. There will be something for everyone to enjoy. We look forward to welcoming all ages and abilities to join us for a week of adventure and discovery.
