A celebration of the traditional Mexican Day of the Dead at Instituto Cervantes - taking place on Friday 1 November, 6-8pm. Free entry.
Instituto Cervantes in Manchester, Manchester Mexican Society and Colibri Mexican Folkdance UK organise a special evening so as to celebrate the Day of the Dead.
An altar will be expressly created for its exhibition at Instituto Cervantes, and the Mexican Society will give a brief talk on the origins and meanings of this holiday, followed by the performance of tradicional mexican dances related to this celebration.
There will also be 'pan de muerto y chocolate', a traditional sweet from Mexico.
