The centre of Newcastle will become a Family Fairground at the weekend over the school summer holidays. Blackett Street will be transformed into a family park and playground area decked out in artificial grass, seating, fairground rides and large outdoor games for families to enjoy. Relax in a large beanbag, mini deck chairs and an artificial grass sofa.
Road closures will be in place and bus routes will be affected.
